Angela Akins Garcia was basically hidden until her marriage to the sports star thrust her into the spotlight, therefore, there is a lack of information on the life events that took place prior to the time she got married Sergio Garcia, a professional golfer. Although it has been established that she's a girl in 1985, the media do not know exactly when or year she was born. Angela Akins Gracia had a passion for sports from the time she was a little girl and chose to learn the game of golf. In order to learn the art of creating a confident yet controlled swing Angela attended several golf lessons. In the course of time Garcia picked up experience and participated in over 8 high-school tournaments. Garcia was captain of the Mable Falls High School golf team in 2003 and in 2006, guided the team to a 3rd-place performance in a regional tournament. It is clear that Garcia is a very accomplished golfer. She holds more than 17 medals at the national level. Additionally she is an eminent part of the Women's Texas Golf Association. Following her graduation from high school Garcia went on into Texas Christain University studied there for a short time before moving to the University of Texas. Her experience was enhanced by the challenges at the university and her skills became more pronounced over the course of time. Angela Akin Garcia, despite her happiness and satisfaction playing professional golfer, had no intention of pursuing the career. She instead pursued the field of journalism. When she finished her degree in journalism, she was hired in Fox Sports Southwest as a journalist.
